Still a few days before the Las Vegas Consumer Electronics Show, one of the world’s largest high-tech trade shows, that will open its doors from January 9-12, 2018.
With 175,000 visitors and more than 3,600 exhibitors from 140 countries in 2017, the CES has become the global meeting place for innovative start-ups who wish to present their new products to major groups, to the media and to the public and to the experts from around the world.
For this 2018 edition of the CES, a delegation of 40 regional start-ups, all carriers of first order technological innovations, will be led by Renaud Muselier, President of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur Region in partnership with the Aix-Marseille Provence and Nice-Côte d’Azur Métropoles, the City of Marseille and the CCI Marseille Provence and Nice Côte d’Azur as well as the 4 French Tech ecosystems of the region including Aix-Marseille French Tech.
AMFT will bring a delegation to Las Vegas led by Stéphane Soto, General Manager of AMFT and composed of elected officials, business leaders of the territory (ONET, CEPAC, Jaguar Network, TourMag, Distrifrance …) Out of the 20 start-ups some already have the experience of CES in Las Vegas.
It is good to rememeber that only The Consumer Technology Association (CTA), organizer of the CES, has the ability to select, the proposed 40 regional start-ups that will showcase the know-how and excellence of Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur.
This year, the CES will focus on 5G, robotics, artificial intelligence, speech recognition, virtual and augmented reality, as well as smart cities and technological breakthroughs.
